He then went on complete his residency in Ophthalmology at UCSF followed by a post doc at Stanford in Ophthalmic Device Innovation and then fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Duke University. Dr. Brodie’s research focuses on developing technologies to visualize and treat the peripheral retina as well as new approaches to telemedicine for subspecialty care. He practices both at UCSF and the San Francisco VA.
