He received his medical school training at the Istanbul University in Cerrahpasa Turkey in 1999 and completed his Pediatric residency in 2005 at the Bakirkoy Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey. Upon moving to the United States, Dr. Keles was a Clinical Research Fellow in Pediatric Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School from 2008 through 2011. From 2009 to 2011 he was a clinical fellow in the Cardiac ICU at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. He was also a clinical fellow in the Pediatric ICU/ACU at Shriner’s Burn Institute from 2009 to 2011. He then went on to complete a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona. Dr. Keles did transnational research on traumatic brain injury during his fellowship and after completing his Pediatric residency from 2013-2014 in MGH Research Institute Neuroscience Center.
