She has special interests in oncofertility (reproductive issues for newly diagnosed cancer patients and cancer survivors), LGBTQIA+ health concerns and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including treatments for congenital pelvic abnormalities.
Mok-Lin's research interests include assisted reproductive technologies and optimizing fertility. She also studies how environmental and genetic factors affect fertility and may cause diminished ovarian reserve or early menopause.
Mok-Lin earned her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School. She completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at New York–Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
