Erin C. Watson, Psy.D., is an Associate Clinical Professor of Health Sciences at the University of San Francisco, California (UCSF). She is a Clinical Health Psychologist with the San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) where she provides integrated care services and contributes to interprofessional education and practice for VA and UCSF learners.

She is the Associate Director of Psychology for the Education for Patient Aligned Care Teams (EdPACT) program and serves as a consultant for the National VA Motivational Interviewing (MI) therapy initiative. She practices evidence-based cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and mindfulness-based therapies. Dr. Watson also serves as a staff lead for the VA's Psychology Diversity Committee (PDC) and is a Diversity Champion for UCSF’s Differences Matter initiative. Her clinical and research interests include the integration of behavioral health in medical specialty clinics and primary care, education for allied health professionals, socially responsible practice, health disparities, and program development and evaluation.
