Dr. Elizabeth Zheng is a transplant hepatologist who cares for patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis B and liver cancer.

Zheng's research is focused on finding ways to increase access to liver care for underserved patients and on developing strategies to increase screening for liver cancer.
Zheng earned her medical degree at New York Medical College. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center (an affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine), a fellowship in gastroenterology at Einstein Medical Center and a fellowship in transplant hepatology at UCSF.
