Dr. Elizabeth Gibb cares for children with complicated medical conditions and their families, with a commitment to managing their care both over time and during severe episodes.

She specializes in treating asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, interstitial lung disease, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, sleep apnea and respiratory conditions related to neuromuscular disease, as well as in performing flexible bronchoscopy and pulmonary function tests. Her research focuses on Cystic Fibrosis treatments.

Dr. Gibb earned a master of philosophy degree in biochemistry at the University of Cambridge and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine at UCSF. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She wrote, produced and directed a UCSF teaching video on pediatric asthma.
