As Medical Director of the UCSF Clinical Laboratories, I am responsible for the overall quality management of our pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes. This includes oversight of all clinical laboratory sections, as well as inpatient and outpatient point of care testing and phlebotomy services. In addition, as a board certified hematopathologist, I attend on the UCSF hematopathology and flow cytometry services, where I specialize in the diagnosis of leukemias and lymphomas.
