Co-Director of the UCSF Center for Health Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia Director of Simulation Education UCSF Department of Urology

Dr. David Bayne, MD, MPH studies the clinical, social and behavioral factors that contribute to kidney stone formation and influence treatment outcomes as UCSF Urology faculty. During medical school, he worked in Haiti as the on-site surgical coordinator for Partner's in Health and completed his residency in urology at UCSF. He completed a Master's in Public Health at UC Berkeley to better understand the social factors associated with surgical outcomes.
