Dr. Daniel Thuillier is an orthopedic surgeon who cares for patients with foot and ankle conditions. He places high value on the doctor-patient relationship and is dedicated to providing innovative, individualized care in and out of the operating room.

Thuillier earned his medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at UCSF. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at Harborview Medical Center, part of the University of Washington health care system.

In research, Thuillier's interests include ankle instability, post-traumatic ankle arthritis and ankle replacement surgery. During his training, he studied the biomechanics of cartilage. He is highly involved in teaching medical students and residents.

Thuillier is a Bay Area native, born in San Francisco and raised in Oakland. He is currently a team physician for the Oakland Roots.
