I provide clinical care at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG), where I see patients with any gastrointestinal diseases and perform endoscopic procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. I received specialized training in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) during my fellowship through the UCSF Crohn's and Colitis Disease Center.

RESEARCH INTERESTS: I pursue educational research, currently focused on the role of peer teaching in endoscopy education. We have developed an innovative curriculum to teach senior GI fellows principles of effective endoscopy education and provide supervised opportunities to practice teaching. I completed the UCSF Teaching Scholars Program in 2024.

TEACHING: I supervise and teach gastroenterology fellows, medical and surgical residents, and medical students, on the GI service and in the GI clinic at ZSFG. I am Co-Director of the Core Inquiry Curriculum, a longitudinal element of UCSF's Bridges Curriculum. I also teach medical students in the classroom in other courses, including REGN (Renal, Endocrine, Gastroenterology, and Nutrition). I am the director of the student and resident GI electives at ZSFG. I also serve as a coach for the GI fellowship and an advisor for the Medicine residency.
