Dr. Christie Robinson is a clinical pharmacist with experience in a variety of settings, including academia, inpatient care, ambulatory care, and at drug database/compendia companies as a drug and clinical content writer. She has provided clinical care in a pulmonary clinic, travel medicine clinic, general medicine clinic, and at UCSF and SFGH on the General Medicine inpatient services.

She is currently working at the # 1 medical app at the point-of-care, epocrates, as a Lead Drug & Clinical Content Manager. She creates and edits ACURE (accurate, current, unbiased, relevant, essential) drug and clinical content. In addition, Dr. Robinson collaborate on interprofessional teams with inspiring people to bring new content to our app. She precepts UCSF student pharmacists participating in the epocrates APPE and provides hands-on experience in evidence-based medicine practice.
During her seven years as a UCSF faculty member, 2007-2013, her clinical service was as a clinical pharmacist (w/ prescriptive authority) in the Asthma & COPD clinic at St Anthony Medical Clinic, a medicines information pharmacist in the Blue Shield of California Ask the Pharmacist Service, a clinical pharmacist in the UCSF Travel Medicine and Immunizations clinic, a clinical pharmacist (w/ prescriptive authority) in the UCSF Freson MTM clinic, and a clinical pharmacist on the inpatient General Medicines service at UCSF as well as at SFGH (WOS faculty). Dr. Robinson’s research interests include supporting the role of the pharmacist in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, assessing outcomes in underserved patients with chronic respiratory conditions through educational and clinical interventions, and pulmonary inhaler devices.
