Chris is a General Internist practicing at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC) Medical Practice Clinic, where he also serves as a preceptor for residents and interdisciplinary trainees, and as the Site Director for medical students in the clinic. He is also a telemedicine urgent care provider for the VA VISN 21, which serves veterans from Reno & Las Vegas, to Manila & Guam, to Honolulu.

Chris is a faculty member of the interdisciplinary primary care training program at the VA, EdPACT, and also has an interest in developing and expanding Mindfulness & Meditation offerings for trainees & faculty at the VA and UCSF, and currently runs half-day meditation retreats as well as a weekly meditation practice group. He hopes to also grow the Mindfulness in Medicine Collaborative, a group of practitioners who are interested in personal meditation practice as well as teaching and facilitating others in practice.
