Cheryl is a Clinical Research Coordinator working on the Research team for the Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment. She has worked on several projects since joining PRHE, including the Chemicals in Our Bodies 2 study and Pregnancy Exposure to Environmental Chemicals (PEEC). She currently works on the ECHO study (Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes).

She coordinates the pregnancy study visits, and follows participants from the second trimester of pregnancy through delivery. Prior to her role at PRHE, she worked on the HPV Teen Study for the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, which studied the effect of HPV on the immune system in adolescent and young women. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she worked as a Rural Public Health volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in Ecuador, S.A.
