Dr. Dharmasukrit is a doctorally-prepared Nursing Professional Development Specialist for the Adult Acute and Transitional Care division of UCSF Health. He received recognition as a national Jonas Nurse Leaders Scholar during his doctoral program. Dr. Dharmasukrit obtained post-doctoral training in Quality Improvement as a VA Quality Scholar at the San Francisco VA Health Care System in the UCSF Division of Geriatrics. His clinical background is in Orthopedics/Trauma Nursing from UC Davis Health.

Dr. Dharmasukrit has published peer-reviewed articles surrounding innovative uses of simulation in nursing education, the "second victim" phenomenon in nursing, and in geriatric surgery with a focus on health disparities and psychosocial experiences. Dr. Dharmasukrit is passionate about patient engagement, nursing professional development, and addressing health disparities for vulnerable geriatric patients undergoing surgery.
