Dr. Marquez attended the University of Santo Tomas in Manila for her undergraduate training and postgraduate internship. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she also completed a fellowship in infectious disease. She went on to complete a fellowship in sleep medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in Burlington. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, board-certified in sleep medicine, and certified with the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Infectious Disease Society of America, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Obesity Medicine Association.
