I initiated my medical career within the Brazilian public health system, serving marginalized and diverse populations. This journey included providing essential healthcare in the Amazon Rainforest, where I catered to the unique needs of indigenous tribes and isolated communities. In São Paulo, my roles were diverse, encompassing positions as an Infectious Diseases consultant, General Practitioner, and Emergency Room leader. These experiences have sharpened my adaptability, critical thinking, and public health leadership skills.

I am currently continuing my commitment to patient care. I am a member of the 2027 Family Medicine Residency Class at Sutter’s Santa Rosa. My research interests are extensive and committed to evidence-based medicine, including an NIH-funded study on overcoming treatment barriers for Chagas Disease in Brazil and investigating the impacts of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations. My ultimate aim is to transform practical challenges into impactful research that fosters systemic changes in healthcare and delivers better care to our patients.
