Dr Alissa (Riesner) Peterson is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is a graduate of UCSF Medical School and Psychiatry Residency Training Program. In 2009, she joined the clinical faculty at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) as an attending physician on the inpatient psychiatry service. Since July 2022, she has served as the interim Program Director for the UCSF Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program.
